About the Role

As an Insurance Lead at Johnson Matthey, you will help drive our goals by leading the global insurance programme, developing strategy, and coordinating with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage Johnson Matthey's global insurance programme, including renewals, procurement and policy oversight.
  • Deliver the insurance strategy aligned to the organisation's risk profile and business priorities.
  • Act as the main point of contact for global insurance matters, building relationships with brokers, insurers and internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee claims management processes, ensuring effective handling, governance and compliance.
  • Coordinate insurance data, cost allocation, documentation and reporting to support business decision making.
  • Collaborate with Risk and Resilience teams to assess exposures and optimise insurance coverage across the organisation.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience managing global insurance programmes within a complex organisation.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build relationships across functions.
  • Solid understanding of insurance principles and their alignment with risk and resilience strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present clearly to senior stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail with strong organisational and prioritisation capabilities.
  • Ability to analyse information, provide practical recommendations and drive implementation.
