What you’ll do

  • Develop and Deliver Enterprise Data Standards – you support the Data & Information Lead in designing frameworks and operating models for Data Governance and Data & Information Management, ensuring alignment with wider Comcast and Sky Group initiatives.
  • Deliver Data Management Controls – bring subject‑matter expertise, including tooling knowledge, to assist business stakeholders and data role holders in authoring and documenting AI‑Ready data controls such as data quality and data cataloguing, utilising strategic data management tooling.
  • Develop Practical Ownership and Governance Models – create frameworks for organising and categorising data domains, partner with data and system owners to embed data governance and ownership standards, and develop monitoring and measuring capabilities for tracking the effectiveness of data and information management controls.
  • Drive Embedding of Data Controls – work closely with relevant business and technical SMEs to implement AI‑Ready data & information management controls based on prioritised data & information risks, key business use cases and prioritised data products.
  • Lead on End‑to‑End Control Implementation – collaborate with data role holders, business and engineering teams to implement controls across the end‑to‑end data & information management lifecycle, ensuring adherence to best practice and driving implementation of AI‑Ready controls across structured, semi‑structured and unstructured data sets.
  • Drive Best Practice Adoption – partner with architecture, engineering and technology colleagues to advocate for good data & information management practices, stay informed about market trends and emerging technologies, contribute to data management innovation within Sky Group, and support education of colleagues to foster adoption of strategic data management tooling and assets.

What you’ll bring

  • Results‑Driven Track Record – extensive, demonstrable expertise in data management and data governance, including data ownership, data quality, metadata management, data lineage and data cataloguing.
  • Technical Proficiency – proficiency in data management and governance technologies and tooling, with practical experience using AI‑driven tools such as Anomalo, Atlan or similar, and experience working with cloud platforms such as GCP and AWS would be advantageous.
  • Relevant Domain Knowledge – proven experience in designing and implementing frameworks and operating models for Data & Information Management and Data Governance processes, and applying data controls within engineering and technical processes.
  • Delivery Excellence – strong track record of initiating, delivering and maintaining data‑related initiatives while effectively communicating complex concepts to stakeholders at various organisational levels.
  • Practical and Solution‑Oriented – strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and proficiency in implementing data management policies and frameworks.
