Receptionist – Hereford Hospital – Permanent – Part Time – £25,038 pro rata – 6 hours per week (Saturday PM 14:30‑20:30)

Responsibilities
- Help people feel comfortable when they visit the department.
- Use empathy and customer service skills to build positive relationships.
- Answer the phone, deal with enquiries and book appointments.
- Welcome patients in person, directing them to the appropriate changing or waiting rooms.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure the department runs smoothly.
- Prepare clinical paperwork, referral forms, charge sheets and terms and conditions.
Qualifications
- Strong communication, IT and keyboard skills.
- Ability to explain sensitive or complicated information clearly, sympathetically and simply.
- Experience working in healthcare administration or on a reception desk is preferred.
