An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and innovative leader to shape the future of Business, Leadership and Management at Derby College Group (DCG). Reporting to the Assistant Principal - Roundhouse Vocational Education, you will lead curriculum excellence, drive innovation, develop high-performing teams, and ensure students gain the skills needed to succeed in a dynamic and evolving business landscape.
As Head of Business, Leadership and Management, you’ll lead a diverse and dynamic curriculum, driving innovation in teaching and curriculum design to reflect evolving industry and global trends. You’ll champion high-quality learning and outstanding student outcomes, while building strong employer partnerships. Working closely with senior leaders, you will inspire teams, embed a culture of collaboration and excellence, and play a key role in shaping strategic growth and delivery across the faculty.
About You
You bring strong analytical and planning skills, with the ability to lead, influence and build positive relationships across the College and beyond. You have proven knowledge of FE sector initiatives, resource management and vocational delivery, alongside experience of innovative curriculum and teaching strategies. A reflective and accountable leader, you take ownership, drive improvement and apply strategic insight to deliver high-quality outcomes. Qualified to Level 6 or above with a teaching qualification.
