Overview
Banana Moon Day Nurseries is looking for a dedicated Early Years Apprentice to care for children aged 0‑5 years, supporting their development through EYFS‑aligned play‑based learning.
The role includes hourly pay of £13.00 and the opportunity to earn a Level3 childcare qualification with Eden while working within a supportive network.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with children aged 0‑5 to support their learning and development.
- Plan and deliver engaging, play‑based learning experiences.
- Maintain a nurturing, safe and supportive environment.
- Obtain a Level3 qualification through the apprenticeship program.
Qualifications
- Completion of Maths and English GCSE qualifications.
- Enhanced DBS certificate within the childcare sector.
- Basic understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and complete the apprenticeship to obtain a childcare qualification.
- Flexibility to work according to nursery needs.
