Overview
We\'re recruiting HGV Drivers to join our team at our Gloucester Operation Centre, GL2 2SF.
You\'ll be working from Monday to Friday, with no nights out or bank holiday working, so you\'ll benefit from a great work-life balance and have more time to yourself.
As a Car Transporter Driver, you\'ll load, collect, and deliver accident-damaged vehicles, often requiring physical effort.
Copart is a global leader in online vehicle remarketing and recycling, partnering with insurance companies, banks, and automotive businesses.
Drivers must comply with legal and company standards, performing vehicle inspections and reporting any issues.
Salary after training is expected to be approximately £44,875 per annum, based on an average of seven vehicle collections per day.
Responsibilities
- Load, collect and deliver accident-damaged vehicles, often requiring physical effort.
- Perform vehicle inspections and report any issues in compliance with legal and company standards.
Qualifications
- HGV Licence Class 1 or Class 2
- Current CPC
- A good understanding of EC Drivers Hours and Working Time regulations using a Tachograph
- Driving experience in both rural and urban environments
- Great communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Confident in the use of handheld devices, with experience in basic IT applications
- Adaptable, with the ability to organise and adjust your working day
- Car transportation or recovery experience
