Overview
As a Housekeeping Assistant at Glasgow Hospitals, you will organise your work and plan your time to maintain cleanliness while supporting patients and staff experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare a range of clinical and non‑clinical areas.
- Operate power cleaning equipment efficiently.
- Work well under pressure, both individually and within a team.
- Demonstrate knowledge of IPC and associated best practices.
- Maintain a current PVG status.
- Contribute to a safe, pleasant customer environment.
Qualifications & Skills
- Knowledge of IPC and associated best practices.
- Understanding of COSHH.
- Healthcare experience preferred but not essential.
- Friendly nature and good communication skills.
- Flexible approach to shift working.
- Ability to work under pressure and within a team.
