About the Role

As a Supermarket Assistant, you will help make a difference for our customers through partner-led service and a passion for food. Your commitment to going the extra mile will shape customers’ impressions of the Waitrose brand and encourage repeat visits. Night Premium applies to any time worked between 22:00 and 06:00 at £3.75 per hour, including for existing Partners enrolled on Enhanced Hours Premium arrangements. Due to working time regulations, applicants must be 18 years or over to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stock replenishment to keep shelves full and products in the right place for customers.
  • Fulfilling online customer orders for delivery to customers’ doors.
  • Reducing wastage by product due diligence and markdowns reaching their sell-by dates.
  • Collaborating with the wider shop team to support checkout, Click & Collect, on-demand orders, and more.
  • Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment with general shopkeeping tasks.

Qualifications

Role Details

Location: Dorking (Waitrose & Partners), South Street, Dorking, Surrey, RH4 2HQ

Pay: £13.00 per hour (£13.25 after 90 days)

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Part-time, varied hours across seven days, including late starts and weekends between 21:00 and 07:00.

Job Level: Partnership Level 10
