Job Overview
We are hiring for a Chef to provide cover in the Surrey area (Guildford, Dorking, Redhill) to support our existing site‑based teams.
This is a term‑time only role (no weekends), offering flexibility for those seeking a balance between work and personal commitments.
Role Details
- Pay: up to £15.00 per hour
- Hours: 27.5 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
- Term length: 38 weeks per year (term‑time only)
- Transport: mobile‑based role – candidates must have reliable transport.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by Caterlink and our clients.
- Ensure all Food Safety and Health & Safety procedures are followed and mandatory paperwork is completed accurately and with integrity.
- Enhance the company’s reputation for excellent food and service by consistently exceeding client and customer expectations.
- Support day‑to‑day operations at the location, including inventory management, budget monitoring and implementation of action plans.
- Adhere to Caterlink’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults.
- Obtain an enhanced DBS disclosure for this role.
