- Be able to produce high-quality work to targets and tight deadlines
- Be able to offer original ideas to evolve brand best sellers
- Constantly research trends, new materials, trims, and colour palettes and show understanding of how they can be applied to the collections
- Competitor product research
- Support your Designer in working closely with the Buying Team to ensure fit and aesthetics meet brand requirements
- Support your Designer in developing customer and market-focused collections
- Sketch and complete detailed technical drawings (using Illustrator and Photoshop as relevant)
- Produce detailed specs and design modifications
- Display excellent attention to detail
- General administration
- Keeping samples organised and displaying the collection for meetings
- Maintain a sample tracker throughout the development process
- Work effectively with suppliers to ensure the design critical path is adhered to at all times
- Develop excellent relationships with other relevant Head Office departments
- Any other tasks which are deemed as reasonable responsibilities by your Line Manager
