CHANEL is undergoing a profound transformation to embrace technology and strengthen its data-centric strategy.

The Maison, composed of 3 divisions, 6 regions and the Corporate, is driving the convergence of data across the organisation through a unified data tech blueprint and the creation and adoption of core data models to enable AI at scale.

The Global Data Program sits at the heart of this transformation, orchestrating the alignment of data capabilities across the House.

It plays a central role in simplifying, standardising and promoting a modern, scalable data foundation that serves strategic data use cases and artificial intelligence initiatives across all entities.

Your Role @ Chanel

As a Data Strategy & AI Convergence Intern within the Global Data Program team, you will support the Head of Global Data Program in driving the convergence of data across the Maison.

Your mission will focus on contributing to strategic and analytical deliverables that underpin the data transformation journey.

Your key contributions will include

  • Research and benchmarking on data convergence practices: Conduct research on industry best practices related to data convergence, core data models and enterprise data strategies that enable AI at scale, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Support to the data tech blueprint: Assist in documenting and refining the data technology blueprint, helping to map current capabilities and identify opportunities for standardisation and simplification across the House.
  • Core model analysis and documentation: Contribute to the analysis, documentation and communication materials around core data models, ensuring clarity and accessibility for diverse stakeholders across divisions and regions.
  • AI readiness landscape: Help build a view of how data convergence initiatives support AI readiness, including mapping dependencies and identifying enablers for scaling AI across the organisation.
  • Strategic presentations and communication: Prepare executive level presentations, synthesis documents and visual frameworks that articulate the program's vision, progress and impact to senior leadership and cross functional stakeholders.
  • Cross functional collaboration: Participate in working sessions with teams from divisions, regions and Corporate functions, gaining exposure to how a global luxury Maison orchestrates complex, international data programs.
