Data Analyst (Finance/Regulatory) – Hybrid Working, London (2 days a week on site). This role supports a strategic Liquidity Data Programme underpinning regulatory reporting and balance sheet management within the Digital Finance Team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a Finance and/or Regulatory environment with domain knowledge in Liquidity, Treasury, and Regulatory Reporting. This role is based in London and can be engaged via Umbrella.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and validate large, complex datasets across multiple systems
- Write SQL queries to extract, reconcile, and interrogate data
- Translate business requirements into clear data and functional specifications
- Support data mapping, lineage, and target-state design
- Design and execute test scenarios and data validation checks
- Facilitate UAT and support implementation activities
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Finance, Risk, Treasury, and Technology
Qualifications
Essential:
- Strong data analysis skills with hands-on experience with complex datasets
- Solid SQL capability (data extraction, transformation, validation)
- Experience delivering analysis within a data or technology environment
- Ability to manage and communicate with cross-functional stakeholders
Highly desirable:
- Experience in Liquidity, Treasury, Regulatory Reporting
- Knowledge of frameworks such as LCR, PRA110, DILAA/SOC, ALMM
- Understanding of data modelling, mapping, and data quality controls
- Exposure to AI / advanced analytics techniques (e.g., data-driven automation, machine learning, or AI-enabled insights)
