Overview
We are looking for hardworking individuals who are enthusiastic and enjoy a challenge to join our team within the frozen warehouse team in Darton, Barnsley. You will work as part of a team to ensure all hygiene tasks are completed efficiently, with full training provided.
Details of location and shift pattern
- Hours: 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 11:30am to 3:30pm
- Rate of Pay: £12.75 per hour, paid on a four weekly basis
- Location: Darton, Barnsley S75 5NH
Accountabilities and responsibilities
- Carry out cleaning work to the required standard and as instructed by your line manager
- Use cleaning materials appropriately and economically and in line with COSHH
- Inform your line manager when stocks are low
- Work quickly and efficiently
- Ability to work in Cold Store (up to -20 degrees) environment
- Cover any aspects/roles within hygiene department for absence or excessive workload deemed appropriate by CSL management
- Operate the automatic cardboard bailer
- Operate mechanical cleaning equipment as trained and required
- Use the correct version controlled documentation and ensure that all paperwork is completed accurately, completely and timely
- Ensure that all Health and Safety procedures are always followed and encourage colleagues to do the same
- Actively report Health and Safety near misses and encourage colleagues to do the same
- Build working relationships with other departments
