Main purpose of role & level in the business

As a Low Code Technical Architect (Consultant) in Kainos, you\'ll lead teams and develop high‑quality Low Code solutions that delight customers and improve the lives of users worldwide.

You\'ll provide direction for your team as you solve problems together.

On a project, you\'ll work with customer architects to agree technical designs, advising on estimated effort and the technical implications of user stories and user journeys.

You\'ll manage, coach and develop a small group of people, focusing on performance management and career development.

It\'s a fast‑paced environment, so you\'ll make sound, well‑reasoned decisions while continuously learning new technologies and approaches with room to grow.

Responsibilities

  • Lead teams and develop high‑quality Low Code solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Provide architectural direction and contribute to technical designs on projects.
  • Collaborate with customer architects to agree on designs and assess estimated effort and technical implications of user stories.
  • Coach, manage, and develop a small team, focusing on performance and career progression.
  • Make sound, timely decisions in a fast‑paced delivery environment.
  • Stay informed about new technologies and approaches to enable ongoing learning and growth.
  • Minimum (essential) requirements
  • Experience in delivering Low Code designs and architectures.
  • Experience of technical ownership for a Low Code project, including architecture, estimation, product planning and user story/requirement creation.
  • Experience of balancing technical decisions with user needs and commercial constraints.
  • Understands non‑functional concerns for customers and has experience incorporating these into the application design.
  • Able to simply and clearly communicate technical design in conversation, documentation and presentations.
  • Able to make effective decisions within fast‑moving delivery.
  • Expertise in Low Code concepts and products, including at least one of:
  • Microsoft Power Platform
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Knowledge of public cloud platforms, such as AWS and Azure, including Saa S and Paa S offerings.
