Responsibilities

  • Lead the Region
  • Own the full people agenda for technology infrastructure and service delivery across EMEA, including hiring, developing, engaging, and retaining local IT talent across all sites.
  • Set Operational Direction

  • Serve as Escalation Point
  • Act as the primary point of escalation and executive representation for technology infrastructure matters across EMEA markets.
  • Translate Global Plans
  • Convert global infrastructure platform standards, policies, and roadmaps into actionable plans that local teams can execute.
  • Represent EMEA Globally
  • Participate in global IT planning, investment decisions, and transformation initiatives on behalf of EMEA.
  • Build Relationships
  • Establish productive, trust‑based relationships with global engineering and operations peers.
  • Operational Oversight

  • Standardisation Leadership
  • Direct the systematic reduction of locally grown IT solutions in favour of globally standardised platforms.
  • Budget Support
  • Guide and support local IT budget owners across EMEA through planning and forecasting cycles; consolidate regional budget data and drive cost efficiency.

  • Proven track record of managing IT operations across multiple countries or sites within a multinational environment.
  • Solid understanding of enterprise infrastructure (networks, workplace technology, endpoints, cloud services) and IT service delivery.
  • Experience bridging global and local IT, ideally in a regional IT director‑type function.
  • Strong influencing skills, effective with IT engineers, country managers, and global executives.
  • Track record of steering teams toward standardisation.
  • People‑first leadership style, focused on developing IT talent rather than just managing capacity.

  • Willingness to travel across EMEA locations (approximately 15‑20%).
  • Experience in consumer goods, retail, or lifestyle/fashion industry is a plus.
