About the Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to lead Arden University's academic quality assurance, compliance and governance functions.
As Director of Quality & Compliance, you'll provide strategic leadership across the University's quality framework, ensuring our academic standards continue to meet UK and international regulatory requirements while delivering an outstanding student experience.
- Working closely with the Academic Registrar and senior colleagues, you'll oversee academic policies, governance, validation and review processes, regulatory compliance and institutional reporting.
- You'll champion continuous improvement, using data, insight and emerging technologies, including AI, to strengthen academic quality and support student success.
- Leading a high-performing team, you'll work collaboratively with colleagues, regulators and partner organisations to shape the University's quality strategy and ensure compliance remains at the heart of everything we do.
About You
We're looking for a senior higher education professional with
- Significant leadership experience within higher education or another regulated environment.
- Extensive knowledge of UK quality assurance, academic governance and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience working with bodies such as the Of S, QAA, UKVI, OIA and other sector regulators.
- A proven track record of leading institutional quality assurance, compliance and enhancement activities.
- Experience developing academic policies, governance frameworks and quality processes.
- Strong knowledge of Of S requirements, student outcomes and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive improvement and decision-making.
- Experience leading organisational change, managing projects and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong financial and resource management experience.
