About the Role
As a Warehouse First Line Manager, you will help the warehouse operate efficiently by following clear operational procedures and leading a team of Partners.
You will be the point of support for the team, creating an inclusive environment focused on individual growth, consistent guidance and ensuring everyone has what they need to succeed.
In addition to your contractual pay, any time worked between 22:00 and 06:00 will attract a Night Premium of £4.75 per hour.

Responsibilities
- Safety and Standards – Follow and enforce Health and Safety guidelines and legal requirements.
- Operational Efficiency – Manage day‑to‑day warehouse tasks, identify practical improvements and implement changes.
- Team Support – Guide, train and provide consistent support to your team; act as Deputy Warehouse Shift Manager when required.
- Respectful Environment – Ensure all Partners are treated fairly, kindly and with respect.
- Site Collaboration – Assist other teams and cover for the Warehouse Shift Manager when they are absent.
- What you will need
- Be 18 or older.
- Management Experience – Proven background in a management or team‑lead role within a distribution or warehouse environment.
- Systems Knowledge – Experience using warehouse management systems to track inventory and operations.
- Stock Management – Good understanding of how to manage and monitor stock levels accurately.
- Safety Legislation – Clear understanding of Health and Safety laws and their application.
- Personnel Procedures – Confidence in handling team matters fairly, including formal policies like disciplinary procedures in line with ACAS guidelines.
