We are looking for a Trading Risk Analyst to help scale, inform, protect and enhance our trading performance through effective trade execution and risk management.

Responsibilities

  • As part of the Trading team, report directly to the Head of Trading with the mission to optimise profits of the team\'s trading strategies through effective trade execution and risk management.
  • Lead and support trade execution strategy in collaboration with other Traders.
  • Own and develop risk management requirements for the Trading team.
  • Monitor live P&L and trading alerts throughout the trading day.
  • Maintain and take ownership of various models and reports, coordinating with the Operations team and Trading team to communicate changes.
  • Circulate reports to the wider group.
  • Use Bloomberg applications to build charts and other instruments for the trading team.
  • Drive improvements and high standards across the team and be a role model for high-quality work.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of professional experience on, or closely with, a trading desk.
  • Strong conceptual understanding of the commodities market.
  • High levels of professional maturity, work ethic and intellectual curiosity.
  • Flexible approach to working hours to respond to evolving market and team needs, typically around an 8-hour day.
  • Strong self-management (self-regulation, stress-reduction, self-awareness, adaptability, positivity).
  • Positive reaction to failure; calm under pressure while upholding strong ethical standards.
  • Commitment to excellence; rapid self-development, attention to detail, and pragmatic problem-solving.
