Black Rock Private Markets is part of Black Rock’s global private markets business, offering expertise across Private Equity, Real Estate, Infrastructure, Private Credit, and Multi-Alternatives.

It currently manages over $420 billion in total assets and client commitments, with a team of over 1,500 professionals across more than 50 global offices, delivering consistent returns over the long term.

Team Overview

Alternatives Client Platform ("ACP") is a team of over 40 employees across several offices.

ACP coordinates and administers investor communications and collateral, ensuring a best‑in‑class client experience for Black Rock’s Private Markets and alternative investors.

The team handles client and fund reports, marketing collateral and presentations, platform data and analytics, and explores new technologies to support our scalable operating platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the production of formal quarterly reporting packages using portfolio‑level and market updates from portfolio managers, asset managers, and fund administration teams across various Black Rock Private Markets businesses.
  • Collect, validate, and aggregate qualitative and quantitative data attributes to meet client reporting needs, performing analysis on performance attribution, exposures, AUM, and flows data as required.
  • Manage, track, delegate, and collaborate with BLK colleagues on recurring data submissions, including custom client requests and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate and prepare quarterly fund webinar materials and marketing materials in partnership with key partners.
  • Lead compliance approval submissions and publications to prospective client data rooms.
  • Perform regular updates and maintenance of standard responses for proposal (RFP) question and answer pairs in our responsive software instance.
  • Actively participate in RFP responses through data gathering, analysis, and other supportive capacities in conjunction with key internal partners.
  • Coordinate and complete customized client due‑diligence requests, industry surveys, and consultant questionnaires.
  • Perform quarterly updates to strategy performance and track record information.
  • Support team members across the firm, including Investor Relations professionals, with ad‑hoc client meeting materials preparation and general information requests.
  • Operations Support and Enhancement Efforts
  • Support and investigate technology and process options to scale and automate routine client service activities.
  • Drive projects to enhance productivity and efficiency through technology and process re‑engineering.
  • Maintain effective file storage management practices to ensure cross‑team partners can access relevant information managed by ACP.
