Overview
As a Supermarket Assistant, you'll help our customers experience a memorable service with partner-led passion for food.
Your drive to go the extra mile supports the Waitrose brand by building trust and loyalty with customers.
Night premium: any time worked between 22:00 and 06:00 attracts a Night Premium of £3.75 per hour.
This also applies to existing Partners enrolled onto Enhanced Hours Premium arrangements.
Due to working time regulations, applicants must be 18 years or over to apply.
Responsibilities
- Stock replenishment - ensuring shelves are full and products are in the right place at the right time for customers.
- Fulfilling online customer orders ready for drivers to deliver shopping to customers' doors.
- Reducing wastage by following product due diligence and markdowns for items nearing their sell-by dates.
- Collaborating with the wider shop team to support operations, including checkout assistance, managing Click & Collect orders, fulfilling on-demand customer orders, and more.
- Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment with general shopkeeping tasks.
