Receptionist – Springfield Hospital – Chelmsford
Full Time – 37.5 Hours Per Week
Role Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic, professional individual who will have an understanding of good customer care to join our team. This position comprises face‑to‑face contact with patients, consultants, all hospital departments and members of the public, as well as telephone contact with patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide front‑desk reception services, including greeting and assisting patients, consultants, staff and visitors.
- Handle telephone enquiries and direct calls to appropriate departments.
- Manage patient appointments and maintain accurate records.
- Support administrative processes and documentation.
Required Experience and Skills
- Proven experience in administration and customer service.
- Hospital experience preferred, but not essential.
- Keyboard skills and good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to make decisions and use initiative.
- Strong communication skill and a flexible, positive attitude.
