The Radiology Health Care Assistants will work closely with the Consultant Radiologists and will support the Ultrasound service by providing excellent patient care, especially in our busy breast clinics. As a HCA you will be responsible for assisting the Radiologists with examinations and support in the planning and booking ultrasound lists.
What you will do:
- Set up clinics and work with Consultant Radiologists during Ultrasound clinics
- Assist with minor procedures e.g. US guided injections, biopsies
- Face to face and telephone communication with patients and Consultants
- Administrative duties including finishing each examination properly and getting room and equipment ready for next clinic or patient
Skills Requirement:
- RGN level 1 registration
- Experience working in an OPD, Pre Assessment and/or theatres setting working independently and as part of a team
- Good Communication / interpersonal skills

- Approachable / Supportive and Professional
