Do you have the technical expertise to support drama, theatre and performance in a specialist teaching environment? We’re looking for an experienced Senior Technician to provide specialist technical support across drama, theatre and performing arts activity.
Key Responsibilities- Providing specialist technical support across drama, theatre and performing arts activities
- Operating, maintaining and troubleshooting complex technical equipment, including audio-visual, lighting and sound systems
- Managing specialist facilities such as drama studios and theatres, ensuring safe and effective use
- Delivering inductions, training and demonstrations to students, staff and external stakeholders
- Practical experience in a technical support role, with specialist knowledge of drama, theatre or performing arts
- Experience managing technical facilities and supporting live performance production processes
- Expertise in theatre production technologies, including audio-visual, lighting and sound
- Strong health and safety knowledge, troubleshooting skills and experience coaching or training others
- 43 days’ leave per year (personal leave, bank holidays and additional days allocated for the Christmas period, pro rata for part-time staff)
