We are seeking an experienced administrator to join our Divisional administrative office within the Department's Civil Engineering Division which is situated in the Civil Engineering Building in West Cambridge.
The Divisional administrative office is the focal point for the Division and provides a full range of services including finance, HR, recruitment, facilities and student-related administrative functions for the Division.
Working closely with another Divisional Coordinator, and alongside the Divisional Administrator, you will coordinate and oversee the administration and operation of the Division, developing and maintaining divisional administrative policy and processes, to ensure smooth running of teaching and research activities in the Division.
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level/Level 6 vocational qualifications or possess an equivalent level of practical experience.
You will be an experienced user of Microsoft Office and possess excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
You should be able to demonstrate advanced knowledge of administration and should have prior experience of developing/reviewing administrative processes and systems.
Maternity cover: This is a maternity cover post and is fixed-term for 12 months or the return of the post holder, whichever is the earlier.
