We welcome applications from medically qualified clinicians with a strong interest in research who are within one year before or after completion of specialist training in neurology (CCT or equivalent).
It is anticipated that the successful applicant will combine the fellowship with an NHS clinical role of up to 50% FTE. This fellowship offers an exceptional opportunity to develop specialist clinical and academic expertise in the diagnosis and management of complex movement disorders, including Parkinson's disease, Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, Corticobasal Syndrome, Multiple System Atrophy, Huntington's disease, and Dementia with Lewy Bodies.

Throughout the two-year programme, the fellow will benefit from a structured rotation integrating specialist clinical experience with protected research time across a broad range of movement disorders. They will be supported to participate in clinical trials, undertake a research project aligned with their interests, and develop the skills and experience needed to pursue an independent academic career.
Dedicated mentorship and guidance will be provided throughout the fellowship, including support in preparing a major grant or fellowship application to facilitate future career development. We are committed to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and intellectually stimulating environment where clinicians and researchers from diverse backgrounds can thrive.
