Role Overview
The Business Director will lead the commercial growth and strategic positioning of Moshi, Carwow's in‑house creative agency serving OEM partners. This senior leadership role drives revenue, owns key OEM relationships, and embeds Moshi as a core part of Carwow's commercial proposition across markets. The Business Director bridges commercial, creative, and production teams to deliver high‑impact, scalable creative solutions that drive measurable value for OEM partners and shapes Moshi's operating model to ensure growth with clear processes, client service, and delivery efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial Ownership & Revenue Growth
Own Moshi's revenue performance and growth trajectory across all markets.
Identify and unlock new revenue opportunities across:
- Creative campaigns
- Always‑on content
- Product launches
- Strategic content partnerships
Partner with Carwow commercial leadership to embed Moshi into OEM deals and co‑funded activity.
Drive revenue diversification beyond one‑off projects into longer‑term, higher‑margin partnerships.
Build clear commercial frameworks (pricing, packaging, margin discipline).
- OEM Client Leadership
Own senior relationships with OEM marketing stakeholders across key accounts.
Position Moshi as a strategic creative partner, not a production vendor.
Lead brief development, creative solutioning, proposal creation, pitch presentations and translate OEM business objectives into effective creative and content strategies.
Ensure high levels of client satisfaction, retention and upsell.
- Pipeline Development & Business Development
Build and manage a robust Moshi pipeline across all markets.
Work closely with Carwow commercial teams (UK, Germany, Spain) to identify opportunities within existing OEM partnerships and introduce Moshi into early‑stage commercial conversations.
Lead proactive outreach and proposal development.
Convert one‑off campaigns into repeat engagements and repeat engagements into strategic retainers or partnerships.
- Operational Structure & Delivery Oversight
Establish scalable delivery processes to support Moshi growth.
Improve resource planning and utilisation, project workflow and timelines, cross‑market coordination.
Work closely with creative and production teams to ensure high‑quality output, maintain delivery efficiency, protect margins and introduce clear reporting on project performance (delivery, profitability, client outcomes).
- Team Leadership & Capability Building
Lead and develop Moshi's client services and delivery teams.
Define a clear operating structure aligned to growth ambitions.
Build capability across client servicing, commercial thinking, creative strategy and foster a high‑performance culture focused on accountability, quality and commercial outcomes.
