About the Role
As a Supermarket Assistant, you will help customers enjoy a differentiated Partner-led service and passion for food. Your drive to go the extra mile helps build trust and loyalty with Waitrose customers.
Note: Night Premium applies for any time worked between 22:00 and 06:00 at £3.75 per hour, including existing Partners enrolled onto Enhanced Hours Premium arrangements. Applicants must be 18 years or over to apply due to working time regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Stock replenishment - keep shelves full and products in the right place at the right time for customers.
- Fulfilling online customer orders ready for our drivers to deliver to customers' doors.
- Reducing wastage by following product due diligence and applying markdowns for items approaching sell-by dates.
- Collaborating with the wider shop team to support checkout, Click & Collect orders, on-demand orders, and more.
- Maintain a safe and tidy working environment with general shopkeeping tasks.

- Communication skills to work effectively as part of a team and with customers.

- Experience in a customer-facing role.
