Help us identify and respond to threats before they become incidents. Threats rarely arrive neatly packaged with all the information needed to make a decision. As a Protective Threat Intelligence Analyst, you will help identify, assess, and respond to threats that could affect our people, operations, customers, and reputation.
We provide clear, practical intelligence to support decision making, from emerging risks through to live incidents, working closely with internal teams and external partners across government, law enforcement, and industry. This is a highly operational role. You will conduct intelligence collection, research and analysis, support live incidents, and work closely with physical security, executive protection, cyber, fraud, and insider threat teams to understand emerging threats and support decision making.
No two weeks are the same. You could be supporting a live incident, assessing activist activity, researching organised criminal threats, or briefing stakeholders on emerging risks. Success in this role requires strong research, critical thinking, writing, and presentation skills, and the ability to turn complex information into clear, actionable insight.
What you'll be doing:
- Conduct intelligence collection and analysis, assessing source credibility, intent, and relevance.
- Identify and assess threats that could impact colleagues, sites, operations, or reputation.
- Apply structured thinking and good judgement to incomplete, conflicting, or ambiguous information.
- Produce high-quality intelligence assessments, reports, briefings, and presentations that help collaborators understand threats and make informed decisions.
- Supervise emerging issues and provide early warning of risks to the business.
- Support physical security, executive protection, cyber, fraud, and insider threat teams with timely intelligence and threat assessments.
- Deliver rapid assessments during incidents and more in-depth analysis on emerging threats.
- Translate sophisticated intelligence into clear, practical advice that supports decision-making.
- Deliver written and verbal briefings to operational teams, senior stakeholders, and decision makers.
- Build trusted working relationships across the Group and with external partners.
