This is a client and growth focused high-impact role for a Financial Planner who enjoys winning new business, building long-term relationships and being rewarded for overall performance. You will grow the lower and high net worth aligned existing client base alongside utilising your own business development skills to grow the client base. You'll have the backing of a strong brand, marketing support and specialist investment teams so you can focus on doing great work for clients and winning new ones.

  • Drive deeper client engagement providing holistic advice to the existing clients and also new client growth increasing assets under advice and overall profitability.
  • Using your own network (and warm leads from Quilter), build a strong pipeline and convert opportunities into loyal, long-term client relationships supported by marketing, colleagues and discretionary investment specialists.
  • Maintain and grow an existing client base.
  • Win new clients through your professional network (accountants, solicitors, corporate advisers) and Quilter referrals, converting enquiries into new relationships.
  • Build and maintain a high-quality pipeline running events, following up quickly and creating a consistent flow of new business.
  • Own your growth plan and targets (activity, pipeline and conversion), with coaching and support from the Area Director and distribution partners.
  • Keep everything compliant meeting FCA requirements and Quilter values and standards, generating great client outcomes and documentation.
  • Advance QC's external Brand and develop a strong personal reputation for your professionalism and the quality of your advice/client service.

The role is based in the South West so you will ideally be able to commute to our Bristol and Exeter offices, and also meet with clients across both Devon and Cornwall.

This role is within scope of the Consumer Duty and is expected to comply with Quilter Cheviot Consumer Duty policies and requirements.

Key attributes include strong client care, business development skills and aptitude, strong technical knowledge with a focus on intelligent, differentiated client solutions, and adaptability to market changes.

Essential qualifications include Level 4 (Diploma) in Financial Planning (minimum) and experience giving regulated advice to high-net-worth private clients.
