We're looking for an Operational Support to join our Licence Programmes team.

What You'll Be Doing

As part of our Licence Programmes team, you'll provide operational and administrative support that helps us deliver excellent customer service and meet our regulatory commitments.

You'll be responsible for managing applications, supporting customers and installers throughout the process, maintaining accurate records and ensuring work is delivered in line with key business and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities include

  • Reviewing and processing customer applications and enquiries relating to Low Carbon Technologies (LCT).
  • Acting as a key point of contact for customers, installers and internal stakeholders.
  • Managing correspondence and ensuring all applications are progressed within agreed timescales.
  • Supporting the delivery of customer and regulatory commitments across the business.
  • Producing reports, tracking performance data and supporting management information requirements.
  • Maintaining accurate records throughout the application and project lifecycle.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and customer experience.
  • Working collaboratively with operational and technical teams to achieve business objectives. Promoting a culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement.

  • Experience in an administrative, operational support or customer-focused role.
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage a high volume of work while maintaining accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • The ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
  • A proactive mindset and a willingness to identify and drive improvements.

It would be beneficial if you also have

  • Knowledge of utility, energy or regulated business environments.
  • An awareness of Ofgem requirements and customer service standards.
  • Experience working with operational systems, reporting tools or workflow management platforms.
