45 hours per week across 4 days (11.25 hours per day, paid breaks). Shifts between 4:20am and 8:00pm with weekend work on a rota basis.
About the Role
As a Cash in Transit Officer, you will help ensure the safe and secure transport of cash between locations, supporting service delivery while mitigating business risks.
Shifts may involve driving or courier duties, solo work or with a partner to maintain operations.
- Main Responsibilities
- Work alone or with a partner as a driver or courier, depending on duties.
- Service ATM machines by ensuring secure transportation and deployment of cash.
- Follow company processes and complete documentation in line with operational targets.
- Drive and park company vehicles responsibly, in line with the Highway Code, company policy, and health and safety procedures.
- Maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver efficient service.
- Communicate clearly with colleagues and branch management to address issues within a reasonable timeframe.
- Key Requirements
- Ability to provide a continuous 10-year employment and education history (any gaps must be explained).
- Valid Full UK driving licence (no more than 6 penalty points).
- CVIT SIA licence is desirable. If held, a £1,000 bonus is paid after probation. If not held, it can be obtained through our fully funded training programme.
- Conscientious driving with adherence to the Highway Code at all times.
- Ability to follow instructions and work to tight deadlines.
- All successful candidates must provide a 10-year traceable work and education history and undergo a criminal record and credit background check.
