Retail Supervisor – Part Time
Hours: 16 hours per week (permanent part-time). Pay: £13.61 per hour, guaranteed 16 hours weekly (approximately £217 per week). Responsibilities
- Support the shop manager and help lead the team to run an efficient shop and provide excellent customer service.
- Take full responsibility for shop operation in the manager’s absence, ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries are worked quickly, and shop routines are completed to maintain a safe, clean and tidy shop.
- Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders and develop the retail assistant team.
- Control operational costs, including shrinkage, waste and payroll.
Qualifications
- Friendly, positive, and hard‑working attitude with a people‑oriented approach.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build working relationships with teammates and customers.
- Trustworthy and reliable, able to handle responsibilities independently.
- Previous experience as a supervisor, team leader or manager in retail or a similar industry is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Ability to complete a Basic DBS (England/Wales) or Disclosure Scotland check if hired.
