Overview
We are looking for individuals with a kind, compassionate heart who want to make a true difference to the quality of life for our clients.
As a Senior Care Assistant you will be the link between the Care Manager and the Care Assistant team, conduct introductions between clients and Care Assistants, provide training for the Care Assistant team, and deliver non-medical services to help clients stay independent in their own home.
You will be based both in the field when providing care and in the office when supporting the Care Manager.

You will help ensure Home Instead Aylesbury Vale and North East Oxfordshire remain compliant with CQC requirements by supporting the Care Manager in this area.
This role is full-time with guaranteed contracted hours and requires availability to work alternative weekends and a minimum of two evenings per week.
Responsibilities
- Act as the link between the Care Manager and the Care Assistant team.
- Conduct introductions between clients and Care Assistants.
- Provide training for the Care Assistant team.
- Deliver a variety of non-medical services to help clients stay independent in their own home.
- Work in the field with clients and in the office to support the Care Manager.
- Support the Care Manager in ensuring CQC compliance.
- Operate within the required availability: guaranteed hours, alternative weekends, and at least two evenings per week.
Qualifications
- Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care or active progression toward it.
- Experience in the care sector and a passion for delivering good customer service.
- Knowledge and understanding of legislation relevant to Health and Social Care.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation; ability to travel across the geographical patch.
