Responsibilities

  • Apply agile best practices and work cross‑functionally with multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Problem‑solve with clients, translating business needs into analytical approaches and solutions.
  • Conduct analysis for evidence‑based decision making, model design, build, testing, and handover.
  • Collaborate in live in‑person whiteboard sessions and asynchronous communication on Teams.
  • Support internal projects and client engagements, including up to 5 days per week on client site.

Qualifications

  • Degree, Master’s or Ph D in data science, mathematics, operational research, physics, or statistics.
  • Experience conducting analysis for evidence‑based decision making and building models.
  • Strong communication skills, able to present findings to technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Full analytics and modelling lifecycle experience: problem formulation, exploratory data analysis, model design, build, testing, and handover.
  • Proficiency with Python, SQL, Excel, and data visualisation tools.
  • Lead and deliver solutions in advanced analytics, data science, algorithm design, operational research, data engineering, big data or cloud platforms, data visualisation or dashboard development.
  • Inquisitive problem‑solver and collaborator.
  • Advantageous: stakeholder management, project management, consulting experience, product development lifecycle for analytical solutions, and business process presentation.
  • Security and Legal Clearance

Some UK roles at PA Consulting require a UK security clearance and background checks.

Applicants must meet residency requirements: British citizenship or at least 5 years continuous residency in the UK.
