Academy Health and Wellbeing Physiologist

Barbican Medical Centre | Physiology | Permanent contract | Full time | Up to £29,680.00 per annum | 40 hours per week

In this entry role in the Physiology department, you'll make a difference, not just a living. We're transforming healthcare in the UK by bringing together assessment, treatment and prevention services to provide integrated care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2:2 Sport and Exercise Science degree or equivalent
• Knowledge of human physiology, exercise, biochemistry, anatomy/biomechanics, psychology and nutrition
• Ability to apply theoretical knowledge in practical clinical settings
• Willingness to travel in and around London, as all Academy Physiology roles are mobile

Responsibilities

• Join a multidisciplinary team of doctors, physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals
• Complete an in-house three‑week training course and an award‑winning preceptorship programme during the first 12 months
• Help promote health and fitness as part of a holistic health service
• Deliver health assessments to support health and wellbeing goals
• Support prevention, rehabilitation and recovery programmes
• Provide client‑focused, compassionate service putting patients' needs first
• Attend a training camp scheduled for September 2025
