PUUC Architecture, a CIAT & RIBA Registered Practice, specialises in modern and traditional designs while covering all aspects of building work from inception to completion. We pride ourselves on collaborating with clients to bring their visions to life by creating tailored design solutions. Utilising advanced Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, we deliver high-quality design options and technical drawings. Our approach is flexible and personalised, ensuring that the unique needs of each client are met with precision and care.

Role Description

PUUC Architecture are looking for an individual with the following requirements:

  • Interest in conservation and listed building architecture.
  • Hybrid working 2/3 days in office and remaining at home subject to a successful probation period.
  • Enthusiastic and team player.
  • Strong verbal and written experience essential due to nature of clients we work with.
  • Excellent report writing such as design and access statements, heritage reports and historical reports through archives.
  • Able to measure residential properties using laser measurer and tape measure – to later draw up in Revit.
  • Hold full driving license with access to car for site visits/meetings.
  • Good understanding of sustainable architecture.
  • Strong social media understanding so input for companies’ socials is kept up to date.

Hours: 9-5am with 1-hour unpaid lunch. 23 days holiday (including 3 to be used during Christmas shutdown) + bank holidays.

This is a unique and rare opportunity to grow with a boutique practice with great aspirations for the near future.

Requirements:

  • Minimum education and experience: Min. Bachelor's / master’s degree in architecture / BSc (Hons) Architectural Technology.
  • Proven experience in Architectural Design.
  • Proficiency in 3D animation software including Revit and Lumion.
  • Strong knowledge of design principles and techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively convey design ideas.

Note: Architecture experience is a plus but not required for this position.
