Key Responsibilities
- Support the ongoing review and modification of our current product portfolio, implementing design improvements to enhance performance, reliability, manufacturability, and cost efficiency
- Maintain all necessary design and production drawings, alongside supporting documentation related to projects
- Work on initial concept development through to hands-on functional prototype & product testing
- Manage and run multiple projects from start to finish
- Work closely with the design team to ensure new innovations are reviewed against our detailed engineering design requirements
- Collaborate with the extended Puttshack design & development team
Key Requirements
- Exceptional Solidworks CAD Modelling skills (multiple part assembly, configurations, drawings)
- Exceptional organisation skills, with the ability to manage projects and extensive data sets
- Proven ability to execute and deliver engineered parts and assemblies for manufacture
- Strong passion for design
- Understanding the structural design requirements and the design of mechanisms and components
- Good knowledge of materials, timber, plastic and metal production processes
- Good presentation skills to communicate product ideas to external stakeholders
