Assistant General Manager

We are recruiting an Assistant General Manager for our venue.

Puttshack is an upscale, tech‑infused mini‑golf experience that serves world‑class food and full bar in a cool environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the General Manager with daily operations and act as liaison between departments and head office.
  • Business
    • Forecasting & controls – plan ahead to maximise financial opportunities.
    • P&L – achieve sales and profit targets; monitor expenditure.
    • Financial administration – maintain cash control, banking reconciliation, investigate discrepancies.
    • Stock – enforce controls and budgets; conduct monthly stock takes.
    • Premises – ensure cleanliness and maintenance.
    • Health & Safety – uphold hygiene, statutory, legal and company standards.
    • Equipment – oversee maintenance, report issues promptly.
  • People
    • Administration – manage schedules, deployment and holidays.
    • Motivation – inspire and lead the team toward full commitment and growth.
    • Recruitment – ensure staff are legally entitled to work in the UK, complete induction and documentation.
    • Training & Development – appraise associates, create development plans.
    • Welfare & Discipline – enforce company policy, address issues timely.
    • Uniform & conduct – maintain presentation standards.
    • Guest relations – build excellent relationships, meet & greet, foster loyalty.
    • Service – deliver highest standards of service and act as a role model.
    • Feedback – handle complaints, report to Head Office, propose solutions.
    • Briefings – provide briefings to managers and associates.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Previous experience as an Assistant General Manager in high‑volume F&B.
