We are looking to recruit a KS1 class teacher to join our caring and enthusiastic team. Our Christian values are at the heart of everything we do. Our shared aims and vision ensure the children receive an excellent education with many opportunities to carry out enrichment activities. Puttenham is a small village school located in beautiful surroundings.

We are looking for someone who:

  • embodies our values and vision;
  • inspires and motivates children through well-planned and engaging teaching;
  • is caring and committed to meeting the needs of the children;
  • can demonstrate excellent classroom practice, behaviour management strategies and an understanding of the class teacher role;
  • has an in-depth knowledge of the curriculum, planning and assessment requirements for Key Stage 1;
  • has an excellent understanding of early reading (phonics) and maths;
  • will work well as a member of a small team;
  • is fully committed to the principles of the KS1 and EYFS and outdoor learning.
