Putney High School is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Junior School Classroom Teacher to join us on a full-time basis. The Junior School is a warm, vibrant, and down-to-earth community in which pupils are curious and collaborative and develop a love of learning. It is proud of its exceptional academic results and strong pastoral care.
As a Junior School teacher, you will participate fully in school life, contributing to our school's continuing success and happy atmosphere. This role may involve the leadership of a foundation subject area. The ideal candidate will be a well-qualified graduate with qualified teacher status, and experience of teaching Key Stage 1 and all curriculum areas.
The ability to use a range of teaching strategies to meet the needs of all students and excellent behaviour management skills and discipline both inside and outside the classroom are essential.
