We are seeking motivated and experienced professionals to join our HEOR team as a Director, focusing on Patient-Reported Outcomes (PRO) and Preference Elicitation Studies. You will contribute to groundbreaking projects that influence healthcare decision-making, advancing the understanding of patient perspectives and preferences to enhance value-driven healthcare delivery.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide strategic leadership in the design and delivery of PRO and preference elicitation research.
- Drive innovation in preference elicitation methodologies and PRO development.
- Shape evidence generation strategies to support HTA submissions and payer negotiations.
- Mentor and develop a team of professionals, fostering expertise in PRO and preference elicitation studies.
- Build and manage client relationships, contributing to business development through proposal preparation and thought leadership activities.
- Collaborate with other HEOR functions, including health economic modelling and real-world evidence, to deliver integrated solutions.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Advanced degree (PhD or MSc) in Health Economics, Epidemiology, Medical Sciences, Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-8 years of experience, with a strong track record in PRO and preference elicitation studies.
- Demonstrable expertise in designing and conducting qualitative and/or quantitative research for PRO and preference elicitation studies.
- Knowledge of methodologies for utility measurement, survey development, and psychometric validation.
- Strong skills in statistical analysis, econometrics, and data interpretation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience publishing in peer-reviewed journals.
- Proven ability to manage projects, teams, and client relationships effectively.
Desirable Expertise:
- Experience with advanced statistical methods, survey platforms (e.g., Qualtrics), and coding languages (e.g., HTML, JavaScript).
- Familiarity with HTA environments and global payer requirements.
- Knowledge of innovative methodologies in preference elicitation, such as discrete choice experiments and best-worst scaling.
- Experience in business development and client engagement, including proposal and pitch preparation.
