We’re on the hunt for a passionate and reliable line chef to join our friendly kitchen team at the Puss in Boots, a beloved Stockport pub known for hearty British classics and warm hospitality.

As part of the Almond Family Pubs group, the Puss in Boots is a well-established local favourite with a busy carvery offering at its heart.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in quality food and has a particular flair for carvery service—someone who can confidently carve meats, present dishes beautifully, and engage with guests during service.

With a superb selection of 4 stunning pubs all located around the Stockport area, Almond Family Pubs is a special place to work. 100% family owned, we are a close-knit team of people who are passionate about working in great pubs and delivering incredible customer service.

  • A passion for cooking and delivering perfectly cooked, delicious dishes.
  • Able to cook to spec and an awareness of GP’s and budgets
  • Great communication, ability to work as part of a team and an appetite to grow and develop

  • Good working knowledge of kitchen and food hygiene procedures
  • Take ownership of the carvery station, including carving meats with precision, maintaining presentation, and ensuring portion control
