We are hiring for a QA Architect to lead the definition and implementation of Testing Strategy and QA standards across Cyber Security within a central Professional Testing Practice. This is a delivery-focused role responsible for driving QA maturity, defining standards, and establishing a practical roadmap for continuous improvement across cyber testing. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in enterprise QA strategy, governance, test automation, audit readiness, and stakeholder management within complex technology environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and deliver the overall Testing Strategy, QA Maturity Framework, and QA standards across Cyber Security teams.
- Establish frameworks, processes, methodologies, and tooling to be adopted across testing teams.
- Lead QA maturity assessments and create actionable remediation roadmaps with priorities, milestones, and ownership.
- Drive adoption of automated testing practices across both internally developed and third-party applications.
- Support teams in defining appropriate performance, stress, and quality testing approaches.
- Develop and deliver training for Testing Practice members and QA professionals.
- Define standards for testing evidence suitable for audit and compliance reviews in regulated environments.
- Track adoption of QA practices and tools through metrics, dashboards, KPIs, and OKRs.
- Partner closely with cybersecurity project teams, control owners, risk/compliance stakeholders, and business teams to improve testing quality and governance.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience defining and implementing Testing Strategies and QA governance frameworks across multiple teams or regions.
- 6+ years of QA experience with at least 2+ years in a QA Manager, QA Lead, or QA Architect role.
- Strong experience aligning QA strategy with business and delivery objectives.
- Experience supporting QA and audit readiness in regulated environments, including evidence management, traceability, and controls.
- Experience participating in internal/external QA audits or working with Control Owners, Risk, and Compliance teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills with the ability to work across departments.
- Experience with data analysis, trend reporting, metrics, dashboards, and identifying quality improvement opportunities.
- Good understanding of Agile, DevSecOps, and software delivery lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Git, and defect management/reporting tools.
- Strong communication skills with experience running workshops and creating best practice documentation.
- Ability to work in fast-paced collaborative environments and deliver independently or within teams.
- Strategic mindset with focus on leadership, change management, continuous improvement, and mentoring.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications such as ISTQB Advanced/Test Manager or similar QA / quality governance certifications.
- Experience in Cyber Security or enterprise technology testing environments is highly preferred.
