Requirements
- Experience with enterprise DNS platforms (Infoblox, BlueCat, Microsoft DNS)
- Knowledge of DNS security (DNS SEC, DDoS protection)
- Exposure to cloud DNS (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- ITIL or Agile delivery experience
Responsibilities:
- Elicit and document business and technical requirements for DNS services (internal & external)
- Analyze DNS architecture, domains, zones, records, and resolution flows
- Translate business needs into functional and non-functional DNS requirements
- Support DNS migrations, consolidations, and cloud/hybrid DNS initiatives
- Assess risks related to DNS availability, security, and performance
- Work with Network Engineers on DNS changes, upgrades, and tooling
- Define success metrics, SLAs, and operational reporting for DNS services
- Support incident/problem analysis related to DNS failures
- Produce clear documentation: HLDs, LLDs, process flows, and service models
- Ensure DNS solutions align with security, compliance, and enterprise standards
