Requirements

  • Experience with enterprise DNS platforms (Infoblox, BlueCat, Microsoft DNS)
  • Knowledge of DNS security (DNS SEC, DDoS protection)
  • Exposure to cloud DNS (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • ITIL or Agile delivery experience

Responsibilities:

  • Elicit and document business and technical requirements for DNS services (internal & external)
  • Analyze DNS architecture, domains, zones, records, and resolution flows
  • Translate business needs into functional and non-functional DNS requirements
  • Support DNS migrations, consolidations, and cloud/hybrid DNS initiatives
  • Assess risks related to DNS availability, security, and performance
  • Work with Network Engineers on DNS changes, upgrades, and tooling
  • Define success metrics, SLAs, and operational reporting for DNS services
  • Support incident/problem analysis related to DNS failures
  • Produce clear documentation: HLDs, LLDs, process flows, and service models
  • Ensure DNS solutions align with security, compliance, and enterprise standards
