The Opportunity

We are working with a leading FMCG business in the food sector to appoint an E-Commerce Executive - or Senior E-Commerce Executive for the right candidate. This is an exciting, hands-on role sitting within the Mainstream UK team, offering genuine breadth across account management, digital retail, D2C and B2B channels. You will be joining a commercially driven, fast-paced environment where no two days are the same - supporting a high-profile portfolio of retail accounts and contributing to the ongoing development of e-commerce and digital strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Account Management
    • Day-to-day management of key retail accounts including major online grocery and marketplace platforms.
    • Completion of monthly promotional nomination forms, new line forms for NPD, and promotional audits.
    • Preparation of weekly sales reports and promotional analysis.
    • Management and reconciliation of a significant media budget.
  • E-Commerce
    • Setup, management and optimisation of retailer.com advertising campaigns via bidding platforms; monitoring performance and completing post-campaign analysis.
    • Maintenance and development of optimised pack images and product content across retail platforms for both existing range and NPD.
    • Management of a third-party content distribution platform.
    • Implementation and tracking of a Ratings & Reviews programme with monthly reporting.
    • Ownership of the Mainstream Product Bible - keeping it current and accurate.
  • D2C - Online Shop
    • Supporting monthly campaign briefs and creative processes from ideation through to implementation.
    • Consumer Care support.
    • Liaison with fulfilment provider.
    • Monthly promotional setup and upload of weekly/monthly sales reports.
  • B2B - App-Based Ordering Platform
    • Management of this growing initiative across Foodservice and Ethnic business sectors.
    • Playing an active role in developing the platform as it continues to scale.

About You

You will be degree educated (or equivalent) with 2-3 years' experience in a similar e-commerce, account management or digital marketing role. You will bring:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a commercially and financially astute approach.
  • Excellent communication, relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience managing budgets and delivering against project deadlines.
  • A proactive, organised, creative mindset with the ability to manage a diverse and demanding workload.
