The Role

As Health and Safety Manager, you will own all aspects of HSE, ensuring compliance, leading audits and driving environmental and sustainability improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Health and Safety strategy and ensure compliance with PUWER, DSEAR, Working at Height and Fire Safety
  • Act as the main contact for HSE and Fire Authorities
  • Lead risk assessments, audits, incident investigations and RIDDOR reporting
  • Support occupational health and health surveillance programmes
  • Drive environmental performance, energy monitoring and sustainability initiatives

About You

  • Proven experience as a Health and Safety Manager within FMCG or manufacturing
  • Experience in Environmental Management
  • Strong knowledge of COSHH, PUWER and DSEAR
  • NEBOSH Diploma with IOSH or IEMA preferred
  • Experience with ISO45001 and ISO14001
  • Confident influencing teams and working with regulators
  • Flexible to support a 24/7 operation
  • Full UK driving licence, sites are 1 mile apart
