Working in partnership with a well-established global organisation, we are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join their team, based near Chelmsford. Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, this is a broad and commercially focused role offering genuine exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on business performance. The Role:
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Production of monthly management accounts, profit and loss, budgets, cash flows, variance analysis and commentary
- Ongoing review of cash flow and assistance with the annual budget and periodic forecasting
- Preparation, analysis and interpretation of business KPIs
- Oversight and management of the purchase order system and monthly review of sales invoices
- Review and amendment of monthly pre-payments and accruals; monitoring of bad debt provisions and fixed asset schedules
- Responsibility for VAT calculation, presentation and payment
