Job Description Senior Reliability Engineer - FMCG Manufacturing Working on behalf of a leading FMCG manufacturer, this is an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Reliability Engineer to step into a lead position having had previous experience within a manufacturing environment. Competitive salary + annual shift allowance Genuine Career growth and opportunity Shift-based role with rotation every 2 weeks Day Shift: 06:00 - 14:00 Evening Shift: 14:00 - 22:00 due to the shifts and location of our client, you must be a driver and not rely on public transport. What You'll Be Doing - Senior Reliability Engineer In this role, you won't just maintain equipment - you'll help drive reliability across the site. You'll be the go-to engineering lead on shift, supporting both your team and production to keep everything running safely and efficiently. Diagnosing and fixing mechanical and electrical faults to reduce downtime Working closely with production teams to hit performance targets Coordinating contractors and making sure work is done safely and correctly Supporting and developing shift engineers through coaching and training Making sure safety, GMP and food safety standards are always met Keeping tools, equipment and critical plant in top condition We're looking for someone practical, reliable and confident in a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding ability Experience in a production or manufacturing engineering environment Confidence supervising engineers or contractors on shift Qualifications Required for Senior Reliability Engineer ~ Engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, HNC, HND or equivalent) ~18th Edition Wiring Regulations (or equivalent electrical qualification) ~ Experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance of production equipment ~ FLT licence (nice to have, not essential) Work for a leading FMCG organisation Work in a fast-paced, modern manufacturing environment Be part of a team that values safety, quality and improvement Develop your skills with ongoing training and career progression
