The Role
As Health and Safety Manager, you will own all aspects of HSE, ensuring compliance, leading audits and driving environmental and sustainability improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Health and Safety strategy and ensure compliance with PUWER, DSEAR, Working at Height and Fire Safety
- Act as the main contact for HSE and Fire Authorities
- Lead risk assessments, audits, incident investigations and RIDDOR reporting
- Support occupational health and health surveillance programmes
- Drive environmental performance, energy monitoring and sustainability initiatives
About You
- Proven experience as a Health and Safety Manager within FMCG or manufacturing
- Experience in Environmental Management
- Strong knowledge of COSHH, PUWER and DSEAR
- NEBOSH Diploma with IOSH or IEMA preferred
- Experience with ISO45001 and ISO14001
- Confident influencing teams and working with regulators
- Flexible to support a 24/7 operation
- Full UK driving licence, sites are 1 mile apart
