Are you looking for an entry level position working for an award-winning employer? Have you always had an interest in science or enjoyed science at school? We are working on behalf of a leading organisation within the science industry who are recruiting an Entry Level Laboratory Assistant for an immediate start. This role is a Fixed Term 5 month contract with a strong opportunity to go permanent, making it the perfect entry-level role for someone looking for a new career path.
With no previous experience necessary, this role is an excellent opportunity for someone with an interest in science who wants to start. Previous experience is not essential; however, you must have a genuine interest in science, be highly organised, and be able to work under pressure whilst maintaining accuracy and high standards. Full training will be provided.
Salary: £24,960.00 - £26,256.00 per annum + 10% Shift Allowance (pro-Rata for FTC)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Shifts: Shifts 6-1, 1-8 rotation (Due to shifts Public Transport is not available to Witham - therefore you must live in Witham or be a car driver/access to a vehicle)
Purpose of the Job: To weigh out analytical samples for the laboratory; load and unload the laboratory dishwashers; wash laboratory glassware.
